Review: Relian Mascara Leopard

Hi lovelies...

This time, I would like to do a review of Relian Mascara Leopard, which I got recently. I heard a lot of good review of Relian mascara. Therefore, I was really excited to try this mascara on as soon as I got it.

First of all, I would like to say that the packaging is really fashionable. The case looks so luxurious with the "Leopard" print on it. For me, the size of the case is also not too big, and really handy to bring around. It's also completed with a small mirror for touching up.

They said that this mascara has falsies effects, which mean you do not need anymore fake eyelashes and extension. When I first heard about it, I was quite fascinated, but still persistent not to be influenced by advertising. Later on since I was in need of new mascara, I remembered of Relian. Then I decided to  give it a shot. Then, voila.... I love it!!!
This mascara totally proves it!!! It really gives great effect of lengthen and thicken your eyelashes instantly, as you can see the difference below:

Before using the product
After using the product (upper lashes)
Left: use Relian (upper lashes) ; Right: no mascara
Relian Mascara Leopard comes with two different tubes. First tube is the volume mascara, and the second one is the fiber mascara, used for lengthen and thicken every single of your eyelashes.

How to use:
1. Apply volume mascara

2.  Follow by the fiber mascara
3. Then reapply the volume mascara.
4. Repeat the same procedure few times until getting the look you want.

I highly recommend this mascara since it really works on me. It takes only few seconds to get full awake eyes on you. This mascara is also waterproof, but doesn't mean it's hard to be removed. It's totally easy removal.

What I don't really like about this mascara is the fibers. The fiber is easy to chip (a bit too flaky), and it's kind of sticky among my eyelashes when I apply it. Consequently, I need to brush the flake out gently, before I reapply the mascara. However, after all it's still worth it compared with the result.

That's all for the review, and please let me know your opinion of this mascara if you decide to get one!! Besides, I think it will be a lovely gift for your besties too <3

My Favorite Nail Polishes for Spring

Maybe some of you might ask why Spring when we don't even have Spring in Indonesia. If you are really interested in the beauty and fashion industry, certainly all you know that most of product lines are launching its spring edition. So I guess nothing wrong for us, the Indonesian beauties, to experience bit of Spring spirit.

As a nail polish junkie, I tend to wear more brighter shades this Spring, like in my previous tutorial, Simple Polka dot Nail Art. Therefore, OPI Nicki Minaj Collection is a go for me. I got my own mini set recently. However, there is a problem with this set since I supposedly to get the Metallic 4 Life as stated in the box, instead of OPI Save Me. No offense all those colors are gorgeous but I would prefer the original mini set with Metallic 4 Life. To alternate the colors, I also currently in love with OPI Florentine Fuchsia and OPI Do You Lilac It? I will put the swatches below follow with a short description of each:

One coat of each; sorry, I was kinda running for a meeting ;(
OPI Do You Lilac It? is one of the most famous OPI nail polishes. This polish is a nice lilac pastel color. It is definitely my favorite shade for purple category. Its shade has enough brightness and doesn't look pale at all like other pastel color mostly do. I typically apply two coats to get a nice opaque finish. I always received so many compliments when I wore this color. It also looks flattering on different skin tone and definite perfect color for spring time.

OPI Save Me is a gorgeous silver rainbow glitter shade. You also can see tiny bar glitters of blue, silver and pale pink swirled in amongst the regular grains of silver glitter. This polish looks gorgeous on its own, however it took several coats to get enough opaque. This shade looks better used as a topcoat over another base color, such as pink, blue and purple. It adds more complexity to your base color.
NOTW "Florentine Fuchsia"
I'm a bit cheated with the name of this polish. I expect the shade to be more fuchsia than it is. Once I applied, it looks more into bright hot red, hardly noticing the fuchsia undertone. Yet, it is still a lovely color. I only need two coats of this polish to get enough opacity. It is probably my second most used polish in the spring and summertime.

If you are into brighter color, I certain that you will be in love with this shade too. Once I look at it, it looks so yummy ^_^...he he...OPI Pink Friday is a bubblegum pink creme shade, different from other ordinary pink color. However, the consistency is a bit streaky, needs about 3 coats to get non streaky coverage. Besides, I'm really sorry that the picture above doesn't really picking up the color.

I've been into turquoise color these days. I have been looking for turquoise polish for ages now, and haven't found the right one. Once I saw this shade, I know that it's not really a turquoise, but close enough. So far, I have never seen any dupes for this shade, or maybe if some of you actually saw similar color please let me know in the comment below. And now this bright teal blue creme shade is my ultimate color for spring. It's easy to apply a nicely flowing consistency that's totally opaque in two coats with a gorgeously smooth and glossy finish.

I admit that this shade is my less favorite color from the collection. At first, I thought it is the dupe of OPI Who the Shrek Are You? from Shrek collection. But it is not...For me, this shade is more in between Who the Shrek Are You? and Fiercely Fiona shade, both are Shrek collection. I even guess that OPI Did It On 'Em is actually the mixture of those both colors, which results into this lime yellow green shade. Normally, it took 2-3 coats to get opaque. Though it's my less favorite, I would say it is still a lovely color and will be a great additional color for spring collection.

I think those colors are going to be a staple spring and even summer color for me. It's definitely as gorgeous as I expected and the photos don't really do it justice.

I would really love to know how you all experience Spring in your daily life and please leave me some comments below if you have any good recommendation for turquoise nail polish.

Live Healthy with Kinohimitsu

Hi lovelies...

Some people said when you live healthy, the beauty will instantly come out inside you. However, I know a lot of people still underestimate the importance of live healthy. Many of us just like to make excuses for skipping exercise, or eating unhealthy. I would not say that I did not do that as well.
Recently, I was introduced to Kinohimitsu, a Japanese drink good for skin health. I saw the advertisement all over the magazines and newspaper. They said after consuming this, our skin will appear more luminous after few weeks. Here I captured the picture of packaging:

You should take this drink once a day 3-8 hours before "your call" to the hot toilet seat. They said it might help your digestion and constipation as well. Actually it tastes delicious and the taste of blueberry is quite strong. Currently, I'm still having my third bottle and I would let all you know hf I can feel the difference after consuming all 6 bottles within six days.

If some of you did try this drink and you feel any difference after consuming it, please leave comment below... I would love to hear your story of your Kinohimitsu.

Simple Polkadot Nail Art

Dear all my lovelies,

Welcome to my initial post of my blog!!

Just like other girls do, I also love to go for shopping, mix matching clothes, hunting for accessories, shoes, and bag, as well as experimenting with make up. I was actually inspired by so many beauty or fashion bloggers who are already existed in the blogging world. My conscience uttered that I also would love to express my passion in fashion and beauty industry to anyone in the world, either the one with same interest or not. I really hope that my blog posts could be friendly useful for my readers, since I love the feeling when I could assist my friends to look fabulous.

Recently I have an extreme obsession toward nail polish. I remember at my early age, I was not really into nail polish. My mom was used to drag me to paint my nail when I was supposed to intend a wedding party and such. However, I did not really like the feeling of having longer nail, which mean that I could break it anytime and the dirt easy to slip in. I just felt that’s not hygienic. (You could see how “hygienic kid” I was!!  Haha…XD)

As the time goes by, I guess when I was in college, I start to experiment with mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow,…, …, and NAIL POLISH. Then, I began to learn how to apply the polish properly by myself, and in sudden, I just drop all my “ hygienic theory” I had before, and just got this extreme obsession.

At recent, I was excited to do a simple nail art, and would love to share it with all of you.

I'm really all into color blocking these days. Therefore, I choose colorful yet simple theme for my nail at this time. I chose the combination of  a watermelon pink, white, and milky light pink/white color. I go for those colors, since I certain that even girls who are not really collecting bunch of nail polishes will probably have those basic colors.

So, what you need are:

1. OPI My Address is Hollywood.
It is suitable for the one who doesn't really dare to wear brighter neon pink. This is a nice shade of watermelon pink polish with minimal shimmer. The shimmer isn't harsh, and you can barely see it once it's been applied. Though OPI released this with their Autumn/Fall collection (Touring America 2011), this particular shade doesn't feel too "Autumn/Fall'' to me. It's a beautiful shade and is going to be perfect for Spring too.  I got mine as a set of Touring America Mini collection.
2. OPI So Many Clowns…So Little Time
This shade looks like nearly milky white than pink. Considered as nude color, this shade looks incredibly classy. My only*issue with this polish is, of course, the amount of coats it takes for it to be opaque- three. Mine is part of Femme de Cirque Mini set, but you also could find the regular 15 ml size.
3. OPI Alpine Snow
It's definitely one of my favorite choices for white nail polish. It works really well and only needs 2 coats to be fully opaque. It is also perfect for French tip manicures. I used my mini Alpine Snow, which is part of Little Romantics Mini Lacquer set.
5. OPI Base Coat and RapiDry Top Coat
How to do:
1. Apply base coat using OPI Base Coat
2. Apply My Address is Hollywood and So Many Clowns...So Little Time alternately, since I don't want to make it look too much pink, and kinda avoid the same tone.
3. Wait for the applied nail polish to dry
4. On the top of My Address is Hollywood nail color, add white polkadot (OPI Alpine Snow) in small and large size alternately. In the other hand, on So Many Clowns...So Little Time nail color, add different size polkadot in the pink tone (using OPI My Address is Hollywood).
5. Using dotting tool, start to add the polkadot. It is better not to tip the dotting tool directly inside the nail polish bottle. Put some drops of the nail polish in a non-porous surface and use that as your palette, in my case I used paper. Depending on how much polish you add to the tip, the dots can be large or small.

6. Once the design dried, add the top coat (RapiDry Top Coat) to preserve your nail art.
7. Et Voilaaaa.....;)

So that’s the tutorial for this Simple Polkadot Nail Art. Hope you all enjoy it and please leave me a comment if you try this at home too…
