Get Cosmopolitan Indonesia Magazine September 2012 NOW!!

Dear lovelies,

Before ending this month, I would like to remind you who lives in Indonesia to get the September 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan Indonesia Magazine as soon as possible. I was excited and tweeted about it as soon as I bought the magazine. What does make me really excited about it?

Here is the hint! Below image is all you could actually get after picking up the magazine. You will be totally spoiled with everything you gonna get.

What are the things you could get??

1. Two Cosmopolitan Indonesia   magazines, with gorgeous photos of Emma Watson as the cover girl. The gold front page is more about fashion and the silver one is more beauty related. Not sold separately.
Rp. 98.000,-

2. Free Full Size Angel Hand Shea Butter from Too Cool for School
Rp. 72.000,-
3.Free Full Size Aloe Vera Soothing Gel from Nature Republic
slightly less or equal to Rp.100.000,-
4. Free Sample of SK-II products and free skin check after the redemption of SK-II coupon at any SK-II counter.
-Free-
(optional)

In fact, I haven't done my skin check yet, since they didn't get the equipments  ready at that moment. However, I managed to get the sample of SK-II Facial Treatment Essence and Cleansing Gel considering my skin is relatively dry.
For your information, you might find the SK-II coupon at the page 65 of the silver front page (beauty related). As I recall, the coupon is valid until end of October 2012; so if you just get the magazine now, you still have a chance to redeem the coupon.

I'll definitely do the review of each product at some point. But, I just would like to test them first and make sure that those are indeed good product. Notably, I would say it's worth buying this month issue of Cosmopolitan Indonesia magazine. With those bonuses, I'd like to say I spend Rp. 98.000,- pretty wisely.

Well, would you like to buy this magazine? If you do, let me know which product is your favorite? ;)

Review: Colette de Sassetot France Body Spray Sensual Amber

Hi beauties,

Today I'm going to feature my recent favorite body spray from Colette de Sassetot France in Sensual Amber. I'm sure most of you think that this body spray reminds us a lot of Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist.

Product Description:
Colette de Sassetot France Sensual Amber Body Spray infused with real aloe extract

Daily Beauty Ritual
Spritz all over for a splash of soft fragrance

Naturally Pampering Ingredient:
Conditioning Aloe Vera

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat, Water (Aqua), Fragrance (Parfum), Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Benz-ophenone-4, BHT

Here I snap the picture of packaging comparison:

As you can see, Colette de Sassetot France Sensual Amber Body Spray is the dupe of Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist. The packaging is exactly the same in shape, height, and size. Both are 8 fl.oz / 236 ml.

What do I like?
I admit at first I didn't really fall into the scent, however after a while it actually does smell pretty nice, especially on the skin. I even like to smell the scent on my wrist. For me, the scent is more into a soft sweet scent. You still could smell the aloe vera, without be too overpowering. It might be just me, but I smell a bit of vanilla aroma as well.
Furthermore, the price is actually cheaper and more affordable than the Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist. I use it quite regularly and often get so many compliments on it.

And my least favorite about it...
Since it is called Sensual Amber, I expected it will have sexy mysterious scent that I normally like. However, you would not get much from this body spray. It is simply sweet yet still addictive. Besides that, the lasting power isn't as great as my Bath and Body Works Fragrance Mist Dark Kiss. It does last for 1-2 hours, and after that you need to spray it all over again.

I do recommend to try this product, especially if you don't want to spend so much for a body spray, but still get smelling lovely.

Would you like to give this body spray a try???

NOTW: OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It

Hi lovelies!!

For Nail of This Week's post, I want to spotlight one of four lacquers from OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection. This collection have been released by O.P.I in early summer 2012. It is available in 4 colors selection, which are: Nothin' Mousie 'Bout ItI'm All EarsThe Color Of Minnie If You Moust You Moust
I was really excited when this collection first came out, and OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It is the one who instantly catch my attention.

OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It is a sheer light pink iridescent shimmer flecks (glitter) with baby pink heart shapes. This lacquer indeed looks really gorgeous in the bottle with little hearts floating inside. Apparently, applying this polish is a different story, it was quite a challenge...
Swatch of two coats OPI Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It
My thoughts:
O.P.I nail lacquers are always my definite choice of nail polish. I do love its easy application and perfect consistency. However, I found the application of this particular polish is very tricky.

1. The tiny shimmer flecks apply quite easy, but definitely aren't easy to catch the little hearts on the brush. Even when you did catch the hearts, it is a bit tricky to get them from brush to the nail. It requires some time to get the heart and place it deliberately on the nail. Besides that, please be aware that this polish has a bit of texture, not extremely smooth.

2. As you see in the swatch picture, it is a truly sheer polish. Hence, I suggest to use this polish for layering over other shades, instead of wearing it by itself. It also looks pretty on the other shades from OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection.

3. In matter of removing the polish, it requires an extra effort to remove the hearts. It was easy to remove the shimmer flecks, but the hearts were still stuck on. I did scrub the hearts off my nail with more polish remover.

Other than that, I love the finish look of this polish as a top coat over other colors. It gives a beautiful pink shimmer without overpowering the base color. It applies flawlessly and dries very quickly.

After all, I don't highly recommend to get this polish since I expect better application from OPI polishes. However, if you already had or decided to get this polish on hand, I suggest you to consider it as a top coat and invest more extra time for its application.

Have you ever tried the similar kind of polish before?? How is your experience with it??

Review: NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette The Runway Collection - Romance

Happy September everyone :)
I can't believe days gone by so fast and it's already September x_x

As I did mention it about two months ago, I managed to get  the other NYX The Runway 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette in Romance. These days, I like to play exclusively with the colors from this palette. So without further ado, let's go ahead to the product review!!

As the other NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette, this palette also came in sleek yet sturdy black packaging with a full size mirror. Like I mentioned at my previous post, it is a perfect size palette to travel with.
My favorite look:
- 4th from left (top row); brown taupe-y color over the lids
- 1st from left (bottom row); rusty orange color on crease
- 2nd from left (bottom row); bronze color on outer
- 5th from left (bottom row); nude color as highlight
Considering the name is Romance, don't expect it have bold and strong colors like Haute Model version. Romance is a nice neutral palette. The colors are indeed meant to be soft and sweet. Besides, it has the perfect amount of shimmer to make my eyes pop. I feel they look well on any skin tone and simply wearable.

DOWNSIDES:
The texture and pigmentation are great. However comparing to Haute Model, I'd probably say that some shades of this palette were a bit chalky, especially the white one. Most of the colors are quite sheer, but you always can build up the color. If you usually wear eyeshadow primer underneath the eyeshadow, it actually make the color more visible. I don't normally use eyeshadow primer, therefore the swatches picture hardly picking up the color. Apologize for that :(

Believe it or not, I have been using this palette almost everyday. So far, this is my favorite neutral palette. I might get the Caviar and Bubbles version at some point since I heard so many people raves about that particular one. I'll definitely write a review as soon as I managed to get one ;)

Have you ever tried this palette?? And what do you think??
